oozes of creativity

firstly, i did honestly not "get it" at th very beginning. i just saw these opposites, in my eyes a bit too obvious and, frankly, aesthetic and enough artistically composed to trick me that they werent "hidden" differences, as in the kind of puzzle that this actually is. i must agree to what you state in the commentary section: it is more art than game. despite the fact that a game can BE an art-piece. as i see it, true art does not have to have a goal. it is the experience of the art itself that is the whole purpose. just experiencing this serves as a goal.

the interaction between music and game has been seen before in this form, nevertheless it is very welcome and lets me as a viewer interact with the mixture of musical calm and peaceful, dreamy setting. it is clear that you used photographs in this animation (eg. the street), where these taken by yourself?

actually, mentioning the word "animation", i realize that this flash-piece (a finer word for a very artful flash movie or game) really makes justice for the word animation. to animate would roughly mean to bring life to something...

and this flash-piece is so full of life! even though it was a bit tricky at times, i enjoyed it to the most. even re-played it because i liked it so much. I feel blessed to have seen this before everyone else, prior to its future appearance on the front page!

Ivorydrive responds:

Yeah, I took all these myself. I just toddled around at 3am with my camera and tripod until I found an area that moved me.

Thanks for the critique, I'm glad you liked it.

interesting.

i did not finish the game. it has a bug.

missiles can only bounce One Time on the electric forcefield.

if and when you form it like a bowl, the missile can bounce on One side of it, but not the other. This means that it flies right Through the forcefield.

Is this really to consider as a bug? yes, i do believe.

Nevertheless, you've created one original game here.

*Praise Praise Praise*

bla blah, it's cool

*praise praise*

yeah.

i put 2 on humor. When the triple, shot is activated, the result can become very intense and rather funny. Lots of missiles flying everywhere, really fun and funny! I laughes pretty much the first time. We tend to laugh as defence from some things.

freeworldgroup responds:

thanks... hmmm not a bug, on purpose : - )

well...

lolcopter. at first, there was this totally funny intro (which gave me false hope) where some ships disappeared in the sea. Then you gave me the feeling that there WAS NO freakin horizon! :P LOL! (and there was stupid dots in the menu)

then suddenly I died. I laughed. I cried. Then I laughed again, and wrote
this extremely important review. Humor = 8,689

>Bye, thanks for 15 intensely funny seconds.

pacmanxpacman responds:

=D go away=D

DIIIII..

..EEE! Why doesn't he die? I'm really keen on killing that ugly shit! =D This game would be better with worse graphics. The graphics is way to good looking for such a crappy game. Although it was entertaining for some 2 minutes...

cmfgames responds:

Oh incase u didn't read i am going to be adding more modes and a way to kill him! actually multiple ways to kill him! I am working on a health bar and trying to get him to fight back, but I aint sure how I am going to do that yet. But anywho thanks for playing!

Why?

Is it only me, or is this game very annoying? This game is IMPOSSIBLE! Can you make this game, but in which the character does not travel in the speed of light? because then i may consider trying to play for more than 11 seconds. The graphics are top of the notch, why ruin it like this?

Helixx responds:

Twich up brother, speed is the key ;) No it is a bit fast/hard, but im on to other projects, which will totally pwn this game into the ground. . . . . This was my first game attempt :D thanks for the comments!

interesting

I guess that there could be more interactivity options, so i give it a seven on that one. Not much sounds. Graphics, very neat! It would be good if you easily could share the maps... maybe you could choose to upload one map (on armor games e.g.) if you're proud of it.

playing online would of course be exciting! but hard to do, i guess? no?

if i could i would give it 8.7, but i cant so it's a niner on this one =) because of the things you could do with it. Overall, it's a pretty simple game, but i'm fond of it still! cute little girl there at the end of each game

ps. and idea for the relative movement: that the whole map would move with you, maybe zoom in a bit when doing that? just a thought of mine =) plus, having the ability to customize each game by choosing how many rounds you shall fight is something that would make it more worthwhile

DBarbarian responds:

Online would be pretty tough, but definately possible. However, since i've never worked with multiplayer before, not sure I can pull it off.

I was going to have a dynamic camera, but the game ran slow enough as it is, so I didn't want to suck up anymore cpu.

Thanks for the review.
